There will be a one-time fee of $35 per line charged to your first bill when you activate any new line of service on a regular postpaid account.
- This includes new activations when a number is transferred to T-Mobile.
- The $35 fee is charged before any taxes are applied.
Waivers
You may be eligible for an activation fee waiver, bill credit, or adjustment if:
- You are eligible for a T-Mobile-sponsored promotion.
- You activate at specific military bases from a T-Mobile kiosk.
Exception: The military activation fee waiver does not apply to Monthly4G activations.
- You are taking over billing responsibility of an existing customer's account. See Change of Responsibility.
- You cancel your account within 14 days.
- You reactivate your account within 90 days of cancellation.
- You port your number back to T-Mobile within 90 days of porting out from T-Mobile.
Note: Bill credits can take up to three bill cycles to appear.
